"จงอางผยอง" ขอนแก่น ยูไนเต็ด เปิดตัว อิบสัน เปเรยร่า เดอ เมโล่ ดาวยิงชาวบราซิเลี่ยน วัย 31 ปี ร่วมทัพอย่างเป็นกทางการหลังพ้นการกักตัวตามมาตรการเดินทางมาจากต่างประเทศ และลงร่วมซ้อมกับทีมในวันแรกทันที

"บิ๊กต้อม" วัฒนา ช่างเหลา ประธานสโมสร ขอนแก่น ยูไนเต็ด กล่าวว่า "อิบสัน ถือว่าเป็นนักเตะที่หลายทีมต้องการตัวไปอยู่ด้วย ซึ่งเราก็เป็นหนึ่งในนั้น เขามีความสามารถ มีผลงานที่ดีเยี่ยมในไทยลีก 1 เขาทำประตูได้ 15 ประตูในปีแรกและทำ 10 ประตูในปีที่ผ่านมา จากการทำประตูหลัก 10 ประตูต่อฤดูกาลในไทยลีก 1 ก็ถือว่าฝีมือไม่ธรรมดา ซึ่งโค้ชคาร์ลอส ร่วมกันปรึกษาและแนะนำว่าจะสามารถเข้ามาช่วยทีมเราได้เป็นอย่างดี"

สำหรับ อิบสัน เมโล เจ้าของความสูง 179 ซม. เริ่มเส้นทางฟุตบอลอาชีพครั้งเเรกเมื่อปี 2010 กับ คราโต้ สโมสรในประเทศบราซิล ต่อมาเดินทางในเส้นทางค้าเเข้งกับอีกหลายทีมในประเทศของตัวเองอย่าง โบอา, อิตาปิเรนเซ่ เเละ โปติกัวร์ ก่อนข้ามน้ำข้ามทะเลไป "เสี่ยงโชค" บนแผ่นดินยุโรปกับทีมในลีกประเทศกรีซ มาถึง 3 สโมสร ในช่วงระหว่างปี 2014 - 2017 พร้อมถล่มประตูได้อย่างมากมาย หลังจากนั้นในฤดูกาล 2018 ย้ายไปร่วมทีม มาริติโม่ ทีมดังในศึก พรีเมียร์ ลีกา ลีกสูงสุดของประเทศโปรตุเกส

ก่อนที่ในฤดูกาล 2019 อิบสัน ข้ามฟากมาโชว์เพลงเเข้งบนแผ่นดินสยามในไทลีก 1 กับ สมุทรปราการ ซิตี้ ลงสนาม 29 นัด ทำได้ 15 ประตู และฤดูกาลล่าสุดกับ สุโขทัย เอฟซี ด้วยผลงาน 10 ประตู กับ 7 แอสซิสต์ จากการลงเล่น 27 นัด ก่อนย้ายมาเป็นนักเตะคนใหม่ของทัพ "จงอางผยอง" ขอนแก่น ยูไนเต็ด ในที่สุด
