นายอมาร์ ลัลวานี่ ซีอีโอ Standard International Management, LLCบริษัทแม่ของเครือโรงแรม The Standard (เดอะ สแตนดาร์ด) เปิดเผยว่า แม้ว่าในปัจจุบันนี้โลกเราจะมีความท้าทายจากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 ที่แพร่ระบาดอยางหนักทั่วโลกและรวมทั้งในประเทศไทยด้วยนั้น แต่ภาพรวมการดำเนินงานของเครือโรงแรม The Standard ก็ยังคงสามารถฟื้นตัวได้ดีขึ้นกว่า 20% นับตั้งแต่ต้นปีถึงปัจจุบัน (YTD) ซึ่งสูงกว่าเป้าหมายที่ได้คาดการณ์เอาไว้ โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยดัชนีการสร้างรายได้หรือ RGI ที่ระดับ 134 ในปี 2564 เมื่อเทียบกับที่ 122 ในปี 2562 ด้วยความแข็งแกร่งและกลยุทธ์การปรับตัวของเรา



ความแข็งแกร่งของแบรนด์ นับว่าเป็นส่วนสำคัญที่ทำให้ตัวเลขยอดการจองตรงในโรงแรมในเครือ The Standard อยู่ระดับสูงตลอด โดยเพิ่มจากอัตรา 45% ก่อนโควิดระบาด มาสู่ระดับ 58% ซึ่งเป็นตัวเลขที่สูงสำหรับแบรนด์โรงแรมอิสระ

นายอมาร์เสริมว่า แม้ในสภาพเศรษฐกิจท่ามกลางวิกฤติ The Standard สามารถขยายฐานธุรกิจเครือโรงแรมได้อย่างน่าพอใจในปีที่ผ่านมา "ปัจจุบัน เรามีโรงแรมทั้งหมด 17 แห่งที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของแบรนด์ The Standard ,Bunkhouse (บังค์เฮ้าส์) และ The Peri Hotel (เดอะ เภรี โฮเทล) โดยในจำนวนนี้ 15 แห่งกลับมาเปิดให้บริการหลังเกิดโควิดระบาด และอีก 21 แห่งเป็นโครงการที่อยู่ระหว่างดำเนินการ นอกเหนือจากนี้มีอีกหลายแห่งอยู่ในขั้นตอนการเจรจา ทำให้เราเป็นหนึ่งในแบรนด์ไลฟ์สไตล์อิสระชั้นนำของโลก"
